TARCO, TOWARD THE SOUTH...

Tarco is a little nice village of Southern Corse. It is situated 24 km at north of Porto-Vecchio, in a bay of the wild coast that characterizes this area.
The bay of Tarco is the ideal place for beautiful sea holidays, its climate allows to have bath from May to October.
The fine sandy beach is well sheltered from the winds and it is perfect both for children and adults; the not deep sea guarantees the maximum safety to children. The crystal-clean sea, with its turquoise color, is just as good as tropical ones.
On every side wildlife is the mistress. The view roves from the high summits of the Incudine to the luxuriant mediterranean undergrowth, whose flavours spread the beach.

:: IN THE VILLAGE

In the village you will go shopping (grocery, papers, tobacconist, gadgets...), to taste the typical cuisine in the restaurants with terrace facing the sea.
You will find cosies ice cream bars to have a drink.
At Tarco you will have the possibility to practice every aquatic sport: diving, windsurf, sailing boat, water-skiing, fishing.

::: Porto-Vecchio, the town of salt: you can visit the ancient citadel and enjoy of many restaurants, boutiques and by night its famous discotheques. Nearby the beutiful beaches of Palombaggia, Pinarellu, Santa Giuliaot and Rondinara...
::: Bonifacio: it offers an unique natural harbour, mini cruises to the Isles of Lavezzi and Cavallo, the tour of its grottos and falaises.
::: The Alta Rocca and the Ospedale forest, for everyone fond of mountains offers walks, excursions, unforgettables views and the chance to have a bath in extraordinaries river like the Solenzara.
